Behavioural concerns Understanding behaviour changes, aggression, defiance, school struggles or sudden shifts in functioning.
Family context Considering family relationships, conflict, separation, loss, or major changes at home.

Insight

What is a psycho-social assessment?

It is a comprehensive process that explores a child or teenager’s emotional, behavioural, social and family functioning.

The goal is insight, not judgement. It helps adults understand the child’s needs so that support can be practical and appropriate.
